With zero waste in mind and wanting to honour the precious ingredients of our Fire Cider infusion - Fire Cider Salt was born. A delicious herbal salt made from the dehydrated strain left over from making the fire cider tonic  ♥️

Perfect sprinkled over avocado on toast, roast potatoes, a salad, dips, sauces or the rim of a margarita glass! Anywhere you would use salt but want it extra tasty.

When we strain the Fire Cider infusion to bottle it, the leftover pulp is much too valuable to waste. We’re talking fresh organic garlic, ginger, turmeric, chillies, oranges, lemons and onions. Added to this is organic horseradish, thyme, rosehips, rosemary and spearmint, all of which bring the aromatic element. This leftover strain still has so much goodness and flavour. So it's dehydrated and mixed with traditionally harvested Southern Ocean sea salt flakes. Why a flake you ask? Because we like the crunch and texture as well as the flavour. These Australian salt flakes are a delicacy in their own right.

Thats it. Absolutely no preservatives, additives, flavours, fillers or whatever else large companies do to food. This is pure plants and salt.

Ingredients

Southern ocean sea salt crunchy flakes, organic horseradish, organic Australian ginger, organic local garlic, organic cayenne (but it's not spicy), onions, local lemons, local oranges, organic thyme, organic rosehips, organic cinnamon, organic spearmint.

Gluten free and vegan.

This is seriously delish! We used as a salt rim for our Palomas (made with Ruby Grapefruit + Galaxy Hops Shrub - also delish) with a little extra flaked salt. Perfection! Wish I had a photo to add but we drank them too fast.

So good on roast sweet potato and on roast organic chicken
Sprinkle liberally before roasting
Left over roast becomes super tasty sandwich filling

Holy moly!!!!! My new favourite ingredient to bring that special kapow to my meals. What I love about Fire Cider Salt is that if I'm feeling lazy and want to cook a simple meal, I can add a sprinkle of this goodness and...BAM!.....I have a delicious gourmet meal. I made a dish with butter beans where I quickly warmed them in a pan then coated with Fire Cider Salt and I had myself something so quick but next level yum. I love the crunchy texture with its' bursts of flavour. This will definitely be a staple on my shelf. Yum yum yum. 🔥🔥
