Summer Berry Horchata is a blend of locally grown blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries, blended with local organic rice and infused with allspice and nutmeg. The result is a lavishly creamy, luxe shrub that makes you think of fruits of the forest or berry sorbet.

Inspired by the fruity rice based Aqua Fresca that is served as a welcome drink and daily thirst quencher in Mexico and South America.

Horchata is a sweet, slightly creamy, totally luxurious, spiced and fruity dream come true. It originated in the Middle East and Africa, where nuts and various grains were blended in water with spices to create health tonics. The tradition travelled via the Moors to Spain and from Spain to Mexico... and so this tradition grew.

Like all our limited edition micro-batch shrubs, this darling is only available online until sold out. Next batch won't be until late 2026!

A summer affair to remember.
Loved this flavour, it really was refreshing during some of the awful hot days we had in Brisbane this year. Hope it makes a comeback next year. The strawberry was delicious and worked with the shrub zing so well!

Oh my goodness ..........you girls have to stop tempting me with these yummy new or seasonal shrubs. I have a whole shelf in my fridge full of many varieties and can't resist reordering or trying the latest (and greatest). There's almost not enough room for my pre-breakfast cocktail - aka Uplifting Digestive Support.

I was excited to receive the Summer Berry Horchata shrub flavour and it exceeded my expectations. Lovely to add to soda water or something stronger!! ( Gin or vodka) Yummy:!!

Sophisticated flavour

If you’re trying to step away from putting a shot of alcohol in everything that you drink then I recommend this shrub to you.
The Horchata is packed with flavour, but it also has the smoothest texture.
I adore this over ice with soda and a few mint leaves.
You’ll feel like you’ve had a fancy cocktail but your belly will be giving you a big thank you.

A long time favourite flavour. I've never tasted anything like it. So refreshing and summery..... I love the beautiful cloudy pink colour. Packed with berries but not too sweet, this would be my desert island drink.
